Why I thought drawing someone freckled wearing tweed was a good idea I don't know...
It may have taken for ever but I've finally finished it and I pretty pleased with how it turned out, especially the face. It was my first time using bristol board (I've had some for a while and used it for a few coloured portraits, but never a graphite one) and I'll definitely be using it again. I didn't blend this at all so it was quite a different way of working for me but I think I prefer it

- A4 bristol board
- Graphite pencils H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 6B, 8B
- Mechanical pencil
- Many, many hours
- Plastic and kneaded erasers
- Reference
